It’s the choice of the people! One of the Queensland Hot Rod Show’s most coveted awards. The car that steals the hearts and minds (and votes) of the thousands of people that attend the Show.

People’s Choice awards often provide for the biggest surprise packet of our shows. More often than not, the winners of these awards are not judged to be the best Street Machines or Hot Rods on show. But despite this, they generate the biggest crowds and capture the heart and soul of every car enthusiast at the show.

Greg & Julie Holmes’ 1970 Barracuda is an outstanding Street Machine. In addition to receiving the People’s Choice Award, it was also awarded 2nd place 2 door 49-70, best undercarriage, and of course, earned a spot in the top ten.

To come away from any Queensland Hot Rod Show with the People’s Choice award is an excellent achievement, and a just reward for the hard work and dedication of the owners and builders of the cars.
