There were some fantastic examples of Australian Street Machines on show. Nathan Walters’ stunning ’76 SS Torana was unveiled at the Show and snagged a Meguiar’s Super Stars Invitation. Look out for this car on the Show scene over the coming months, it’s an incredible piece of Aussie muscle. And, let’s not forget, XBOSS was here and wowed the crowds all weekend long.
But Adam and Kylie Perry’s ‘Tailspin’ has taken home Top Street Machine of the show, also taking home Best Interior and Best Displayed Vehicle. Bernt Karlsson from American Hot Rod was at the Show this weekend and selected Tailspin as his pick of the Show as well – a great honour to go home with!
It’s a stunning example of craftsmanship, and an excellent example of what can be achieved on the Australian custom car scene. The engine bay, the interior and the gorgeous paint job are exceptional. And let’s not forget the engineering involved in spinning a car around in the first place!
For me, this car was the stand out – the pictures available online and in magazines are not doing this car justice – it’s incredible, and in the flesh, it has just blown us all away.
Thank you so much to Adam and Kylie for bringing Tailspin to the Show in 2017. It was lovely to meet you, and we hope to see you around again soon.
